Marketing & Communications Manager
Overview

An exciting newly created role within a Wellington-based company to set up and lead their marketing and communications function. With a team of around 80, they are looking to expand in 2021 and are looking for someone to support them through this next phase of growth.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of a marketing and communications strategy that ensures the activities support the long-term goals and growth ambitions of the company.
  • Review and refresh the company's brand positioning as a trusted and personable company and roll this out across all channels, ensuring consistency of brand, messaging and tone.
  • Lead direct and digital campaigns to drive lead generation through the website
  • Manage website from a content, lead generation and customer experience perspective
  • Develop an external communications plan that keeps the company from of mind for target audiences and partners
  • Develop internal communications plan that drives staff engagement and makes them feel informed and valued

Profile
  • 10+ years experience in marketing and communications
  • Strong internal and external communications experience
  • Experience in managing digital channels
  • Experience in lead generation campaigns
  • Experience in creating strategic marketing plans but also comfortable rolling up sleeves and managing the execution
  • Preferred experience working directly in or with the executive team
  • Proactive, decisive and personable personality
