Our client is looking for a Chinese Digital Marketing Specialist to help lead the digital channels go to market strategies into the China market. The team is spread across Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch so you can be based anywhere in NZ. Initially it is a part time, fixed term 6 month contract with the potential to go full time at a later date.

• Understand and implement the digital marketing strategy and implement best practise brand tone across China digital platforms
• Develop and implement digital marketing tactical objectives and programs to promote products across China e-commerce platforms
• Identify any new digital platforms for marketing opportunities in China and Asia Pacific and implement marketing programs
• Carry out monthly reporting on consumer engagement and recommend solutions to improve performance and conversion rates
• Monitor brand position across all platforms and activate resolutions for compromised brand position
• Translate communications from English to Chinese, reviewing brand translation across all touch point
• Manage digital agency based in Shanghai
• Bulid relationships with partner network across NZ

• Proven experience in localising, activating and managing premium brands that engage Chinese consumers in China and with a focus on digital marketing and social commerce.
• Is a subject matter expert and sought by others for advice and solutions on marketing in China.
• In depth understanding of chinese digital marketing channels and how to deliver results per channel
• An ability to work with other team members collaboratively to ensure programmes and projects meet deadlines and standards are maintained
• Builds appropriate rapport and maintains relationships with all people, up, down and sideways, inside and outside the organisation and across a variety of functions and locations
• Adjusts communication content and style to meet the needs of the audience
• Agency management experience
• Native level Mandarin, Business Level English
